2023 San Antonio All Stars

Desde 1978, el San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game ha sido un escaparate de los mejores talentos de fútbol americano de las escuelas preparatorias o high Schools del área con el objetivo de destacar a los jugadores locales y mejorar sus oportunidades para obtener becas universitarias, la version de 2023 este contó con 116 estudiantes de último año que representaban a 62 escuelas preparatoriaso High Schools del área de San Antonio.

Los jugadores son nominados por sus entrenadores de la escuelas y elegidos por un comité de selección compuesto por locutores, periodistas y ex entrenadores y se divide en 2 Equipos:
El Equipo Negro y el Equipo Dorado, este año la victoria fue para el equipo negro con un marcador de 41-34, con una destaca actuacion del QB Ashton Dubose con 4 Touch Downs: 3 por la via aerea y una carrera.

El San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game es presentadopor HEB y se televisa en CW35 y se transmite por la radio San Antonio Sports Star ESPN 94.1 FM/1250 AM en San Antonio.

ANTECEDENTES

El juego fue formado originalmente por Kiwanis Club y luego fue operado por Kids Sports Network hasta 2013.

Desde 2014, el juego ha sido administrado por San Antonio Sports y se lleva a cabo en el Alamodome cada año inmediatamente después del All-American Bowl, que como ya lo hemos destacado anteiormente presenta a los 100 mejores jugadores de la nación y es televisado por NBC.

Since 1978, the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game has been a showcase for the best football talent from area high schools with the goal of highlighting local players and improving their opportunities for college scholarships, The 2023 version featured 116 seniors representing 62 San Antonio area high schools.

The players are nominated by their school coaches and chosen by a selection committee made up of broadcasters, journalists and former coaches and is divided into 2 Teams:
The Black Team and the Gold Team, this year the victory was for the black team, final score of 41-34, with an outstanding performance by QB Ashton Dubose with 4 Touch Downs: 3 by air and a run.

The San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game is presented by HEB and is televised on CW35 and airs on San Antonio Sports Star ESPN 94.1 FM/1250 AM radio in San Antonio.

BACKGROUND

The game was originally formed by the Kiwanis Club and was later operated by the Kids Sports Network until 2013.

Since 2014, the game has been administered by San Antonio Sports and is held at the Alamodome each year immediately following the All-American Bowl, which as we’ve already highlighted features the top 100 players in the nation and is televised by NBC.
