Thanks to Jordan McCloud’s huge day, Texas State cruised to a 41-9 win over Arkansas State, in a SOLD OUT GAME. He threw for 320 yards and four touchdowns, including a 53-yarder to Kole Wilson. McCloud also rushed for a score, and connected with Joey Hobert, who had 101 yards on 10 catches. Ismail Mahdi added 164 rushing yards for Texas State.
Arkansas State had some success with Jaylen Raynor throwing for 207 yards, and Ja’Quez Cross rushing for 117 yards, but it wasn’t enough. Texas State now sits at 4-2, 2-0 in Sun Belt play. The Bobcats remain undefeated in their 2nd conference game, with an overall record 4-2, is remarkable that both losses were for 3 points against ASU and 1 point against Sam Houston St. The Next TXST Home Game will be Tuesday, Oct 29th vs Louisiana Cajuns, this will be an interesting game because the bobcats have not defeated them before, would this be the 1st time?
