UTSA Roadrunners Roll Past UNT Mean Green in High-Scoring Showdown

The UTSA Roadrunners continued their dominant home season with a thrilling 48-27 victory over the North Texas Mean Green on Friday night at the Alamodome. The game, which drew a crowd of 21,350 fans, was a showcase of offensive firepower and defensive tenacity.


Roadrunners Soar High

UTSA’s offense was led by quarterback Owen McCown, who had a stellar performance, throwing for 379 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Robert Henry Jr. also contributed significantly, rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns, David Amador had 122 yards on nine receptions..


Mean Green Fight Hard, But Fall Short
North Texas, led by running back Shane Porter’s 193 rushing yards and two touchdowns, fought valiantly. However, the Mean Green’s defense couldn’t contain the high-powered Roadrunners’ offense.
With this victory, UTSA extended their home winning streak to nine games, solidifying their position as one of the top teams in college football.
