San Marcos, Texas – November 22th, 2025
Texas State showed toughness and control at home on November 22, 2025. They beat the UL Monroe Warhawks 31–14. The game flipped completely after halftime. A slow, defense-heavy first half gave way to a physical, efficient, and confident Bobcats performance in the final two quarters.

Quarterback Brad Jackson delivered a standout game. He threw 2 touchdown passes and rushed for 2 more. He finished with 201 passing yards and 88 rushing yards. He was the engine of the offense and the difference-maker ULM couldn’t contain.

The ground game set the tone as well. Texas State piled up 221 rushing yards, wearing down ULM with sustained drives and clean execution. In total, the Bobcats produced 422 yards of offense, showing balance, control, and rhythm.

Defensively, Texas State came out sharp and disciplined. They held ULM under 70 total yards in the first half. They forced stops in critical situations. Texas State prevented any real momentum shift, even when the Warhawks scored twice in the second half.

With the win, the Bobcats stay firmly in the postseason hunt. They head into late November with energy and purpose. They aim to be bowl eligible by defeating University of South Alabama on November 29th at home.
